Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accuracy in our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping for manufacturing businesses, with a strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. This role will support our financial operations, working closely with our Senior Accountant and leadership team to maintain compliance and drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and account reconciliations. 
  • Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections. 
  • Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reimbursements, with attention to manufacturing-related costs (e.g., raw materials, inventory). 
  • Monitor and reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
  • Insure supporting documentation for accounts payable and receivable are maintained in an organized manner.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Accountant to prepare for audits and maintain compliance with GAAP standards. 
  • Utilize current accounting software in Global Shop Solutions ERP to streamline financial processes. 
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking specifically to electronics manufacturing operations. 
  • Perform ad-hoc financial tasks as needed to support the leadership team.

Qualifications: 

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required with equivalent experience). 
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment. 
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems). 
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting processes. 
  • Familiarity with manufacturing cost accounting, including inventory reconciliation and cost of goods sold (COGS). 
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. 
  • Knowledge of GAAP and basic tax regulations. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience with payroll processing and audit preparation is a plus.

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience in the electronics manufacturing industry or similar sectors. 
  • Familiarity with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing.
  • Ability to adapt to a hybrid work environment (if applicable).

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to assist in overseeing our financial operations and ensure accuracy in our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing accounting, with expertise in cost accounting, financial reporting, and ERP systems. Reporting to our Controller, the Senior Accountant will manage complex financial tasks, support strategic decision-making, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 
  • Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings. 
  • Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. 
  • Conduct cost accounting tasks, including inventory valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis, and production cost tracking specific to electronics manufacturing. 
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic financial planning. 
  • Utilize current accounting software in Global Shop Solutions ERP to streamline financial processes. 
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for manufacturing operations, such as cost optimization and inventory management. 
  • Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset schedules. 
  • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, including bookkeepers, to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. 
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed to support leadership decisions.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred but not required). 
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or electronics industry. 
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. 
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial reporting standards. 
  • Experience with inventory reconciliation, COGS analysis, and manufacturing cost accounting. 
  • Proven ability to manage month-end closings, audits, and financial statement preparation. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and leadership. 
  • Familiarity with payroll processing and tax compliance is a plus. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience in the electronics manufacturing industry or similar sectors.

Outside Sales Engineer

Sentech is seeking an experienced, highly motivated outside technical sales professional. This position is responsible for supporting company business development efforts and communication of technical responses to customers (working with company Engineers). The Outside Sales Engineer will be required to gain a thorough understanding of the company’s products and customers and to develop strong relationships with our business partners/customers.   The Outside Sales Engineer will also be required to develop and maintain trusted relationships with decision makers, engineers and other key buyers within named accounts and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate the ability to address each customer's and partner's unique inquiry, while providing them with the proper information and appropriate solution based on the customer's specific needs and interests.

  • Develop new business with existing and new customers. 
  • Engage and work with business partners where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Sales and Operations to establish a working knowledge of company products and procedures.

  • Follow-up with clients to ensure consistent and ongoing coverage of accounts including new sales opportunities.
  • Understand and participate as required in all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, and RFP responses.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s customers, the prospects, the partners, and the influencers.
  • Maintain the highest level of customer and partner satisfaction with all accounts.
  • Maintain a positive, professional 'total customer service' attitude and demonstrate the company's Core Values.
  • Coordinate, plan, and schedule sales support functions with the Sentech Engineering staff.
  • This position is full time and will report to the Vice President of Sales.

Education:

BS in Business, Engineering or sales related field is a requirement.

Travel:

Business travel between 20%-30% yearly will be expected for this position. 

Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Business-to-Business sales experience with Sensors (Hall Effect, Proximity, Magnetic Pickup is a must).
  • Proven ability to work in a sales environment and a deep understanding of sensor technologies.
  • Proven negotiation skills and the ability to persuade and influence decision makers and executives are required.  
  • Professionalism, ethical, personal integrity, a high internal commitment to achieve success.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
